Hello!
It’s me! Karena - the woman behind Everlast Photography!
I have known, ever since the start of my photography journey, that I would be photographing babies and children. It is my absolute passion to create meaningful artwork for families that feature their most precious loves! The incredible joys that parents experience when expecting a baby and the indescribable love that parents feel once their child arrives is what inspires me to create. I love to capture these feelings in a photograph so that my clients can relive these precious moments for years to come.
I have always been a creative person - drawing, painting, glueing, molding, you name it! When I was a child, I wanted to be a cartoonist or illustrator. Between those early years and today, my life has led me to earn a Bachelor’s Degree, as well as to become the wife to my soulmate and the mother to my amazing children. When I am not spending time with my family or working, you can find me attempting to knit, traveling whenever possible, and humming Christmas carols in July (strange, I know). Others might describe me as quiet, soft spoken, funny, and determined.
I’ve put my heart and soul into the portfolio I’ve created of my amazing clients’ most special moments. And, I pride myself the relationships I’ve built with these families. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to get to know me a little.
Please take a look around my website and feel free to send me a message if you have any questions.

Everlast Home Studio
I have built a photography studio in my home located in Spruce Grove. It is a great space that I love to create in! I have studio lighting, backdrops, props, fabrics, stands, and anything else you could think of photography related! Clients have their own lounge area to hang out in and relax when not being photographed and are welcome to help themselves to refreshments too! I usually photograph my studio portraits here and all of my posed newborn portraits are photographed in this space. Please note that my home is puppy friendly, but the studio area is puppy free.
Edmonton Studio Options
There are a variety of studio options available in the Edmonton area for my clients’ sessions as well. Depending on client needs, these can be great options that can be added onto a session. If you’re looking for a certain look or a large space to accommodate more people, then studio rental may be the solution.
