“I’d love to have beautiful photos of our family right now, but It’s so hard for us to find time to do this.”

I understand.  But, rather than thinking of this as an hour to get everyone together and smiling for photos, think of it as an evening spent together, enjoying a walk, making time to slow down, relax, and connect as a family.  It’s as simple as that!  Rather than having everyone “say cheese” for the lady with the camera, you can have doggy piles, and tickle fights, talk about your favourite part of the day, pick flowers, whisper sweet nothings in your spouse’s ear, and play!  Let me capture these moments that mean so much - moments that you can hold onto and feel the emotions in every time you look at them!

“But, Karena!  I don’t think you know how stressful it can be preparing for family photos!”

Oh, yes I can!  I may often be the one who is behind the camera, but I still do have my family photographed too!  And, just like you, I have to get the kids dressed while curling my hair and texting my husband to pick something up on the way home!  I know how it goes!  BUT, since I have some experience with this, please know that I’ve prepared a Guide for you that will help with the details.  I’ve gathered feedback from clients and put together a collection of some of the stresses of preparing for family photos while also laying out some small but helpful things to help you along the way.  

“Can you help us with what to wear?”

Absolutely!  Selecting your family wardrobe is an important part of your session!  We want your wardrobe to be comfortable, flattering, and fit the feel of these photos for your family!  After all, you’re going to be looking at these beautiful memories for years to come!  Let’s create the best images possible together!  I have a couple of resources I can offer to help you in selecting your family’s best look.  I even send out a Style Guide to you before your session which has some tips and tricks to consider before we even take our first photo!

“We have these beautiful photos from past family milestones that we just love!  But, unfortunately, I just haven’t had the time to get them on my wall and I don’t even know where to start.” 

We’ve all been there!  You have a busy schedule, you’re balancing raising a family on top of your other responsibilities, and there is only so much time in a day!  Before you know it, more time has passed than you intended and those photos still have yet to be shown off.  The good news is that I am here every step of the way!  I am happy to do the work for you!  I will help you design and display your most favourite moments in your home for your family to enjoy every single day!  In fact, I’ve even included a $50 print credit with your session to help you get started with your Wall Art investment.  I offer a variety of museum quality wall features for my clients that are stunning!  You don’t have to worry about a thing.  I will prepare your beautiful art for you in the perfect medium and the perfect size so it is ready to hang in no time!

You also have the option to view your image gallery in person with me so that we can go over everything together and begin designing your perfect wall display.  If you prefer to view your gallery online in the comfort of your own home, I’m happy to offer that option as well.  

What do you need to do to get started?  To secure your session date, you simply choose your preferred session date in the booking calendar.  Then, I’ll contact you and once we have a signed agreement in place with a deposit, your family portrait session is confirmed!
