A while back I was contacted by an awesome woman who was so thoughtful and loving. She and her friend wanted to gift something special to their dear friend, as she was expecting a baby. After discussing their needs and the timeline, they decided to purchase a gift card for a Custom Maternity Session.
Personally, I feel like this was the best gift they could have given! This couple was so sweet and already so in love with their son who they had yet to meet. We booked the session for the Edmonton studio location, as well as an awesome Hair and Makeup Artist to pamper Mom before the session.
We focused their session on Mom, but made sure to include Dad in each set up as well. Sometimes dads shy away from the camera and that is okay. I always do my best to make everyone feel comfortable.
Mom chose a great selection of maternity wear from the studio collection. I love that we got to do some images with a boho feel, some more elegant and classic images, and some cozy poses as well. I was able to incorporate the requested poses that the client wanted as well as some traditional style images.
Altogether, this session was just wonderful. And, this couple welcomed a healthy baby boy into their arms not too long after this session took place!
