Kayde is lucky to have the love and kindness of two amazing older siblings like these two. When they arrived to the session, mom was asking about this pose. And, it was the first one we did.
Sometimes sibling poses are my favourite. It isn't always easy coaxing a toddler into smiling for the camera or kissing her baby brother, but it's definitely worth it. I am always so happy to be able to present these images to parents because I know these moments are so treasured.
Being able to freeze time and always remember how your children were when each were born is priceless.
Oh, but then there's these poses! Little babe all squished up and comfy. This pose is always on my to-do list for a session. It shows off all of baby's little features in just one shot. And, often these images look great on the wall, because parents often choose the colour palette here to go with their style.
I have always enjoyed capturing the in-between moments during a session and I usually try to include images when baby is making a cute or funny face. However, I am really going to make an effort to capture more of these "poses". I want to be able to show parents the images that capture the little things that their son did regularly in his first days - like a really great stretch!
I hope you enjoyed Kayde's newborn portrait session. I was so happy to be able to create these images for him and his family. I hope loves them as he gets older.
