It was such a wonderful time photographing these two expectant parents for their maternity session! They had told me they wanted their session to be outdoors and I knew a location we could use that would be perfect. We met at Lake Chickakoo which is just west of Edmonton. I love this location because it is versatile and provides several different backdrops for clients’ sessions. Even though it is a fairly popular place for runners and families, we can always find great spots for portraits.
I love the soft colours Brooke and Dalton chose to wear for their session and I am in love with the lace robe and floral crown mama brought too! These colours and textures really make these portraits pop! And, the beautiful light that nature provided us that day really made for some beautiful shots as well.
