Melia’s mom had contacted me a couple months before Melia’s first birthday to book her milestone portraits. I was SO excited as I had photographed their family for Melia’s newborn portraits and their images turned out so lovely! She knew exactly what she wanted - a tea party themed portrait session. Melia’s mom had a beautiful tea set ready to go. We talked back and forth on her outfit styling for the session and I think what was selected turned out beautifully! I love the vintage style of the white dress and am absolutely smitten with the blue floral print of the other!
As you can image, it can be challenging to direct a one year old for this style of portraits. After only a few moments, it is time to wander and explore the park! But, we had a few tricks up our sleeves and were able to achieve these beautiful images and more for her session!
I am so grateful to have been able to photograph Melia for this incredible first year milestone and to have provided these images there she and her family can look back on years from now.
