I was invited to photograph this beautiful family after their daughter arrived. She wasn’t in the newborn stage for these photos as she was a little older. But, as you can see that doesn't change the beautiful moments we captured and the details we were able to record for her family.
Sometimes parents worry when their baby starts to cry or when their child isn’t cooperating as they think it will make for bad photos. But, sometimes those sweet moments when Mom or Dad is trying to settle their little one can make the most beautiful photo - one that you’ll want to hold onto forever! You can see below that there were some moments where baby is being craddled closely and there was some singing and swaying. These moments are perfect and I’m so glad I was there for them!
Also, since Dad’s parents were visiting Edmonton from out of province, we took the opportunity to photograph them with their new granddaughter! They were both beaming with pride and I loved being there for those moments too!
