I wanted to share this session here as it’s a great example of how my clients and I can achieve relaxed, fun, and beautiful maternity portraits in studio. We created a variety of scenes and looks in this space and were able to get plenty of great photos for them to remember this special time.
As always, my clients and I discussed session wardrobe before our session. We talked about textures, colours, and coordinating. You’ll see below, they had several outfit styling options for this session which complimented each look we were going for as we changed our set. In this case, my clients brought all of their wardrobe options for the session, but I do offer a client closet for those who want more options.
For this session, I rented this studio space. Luckily, this space has huge windows that provide the most beautiful light. So, we photographed all of these photos using natural light. Some of my studio sessions include studio light, natural light, or even a mix of both. It all depends on the look we are trying to achieve - which is discussed beforehand during our consultation.
So, if you are planning maternity portraits, would you plan a session like this? What would your dream wardrobe look like? What colours would you want to use? The sky is the limit! Share below or shoot me an email and we can chat.
