Months ago, I put out a call to work with someone who had a personal story they wanted to be told through photography. It was open to anyone. That call put me in touch with this beautiful soul, Martine. I won’t share all of the details of her story here, because it is personal. But, I hope that the image above speaks to its viewers. I hope this photograph translates into a story about her life that is interpreted in an honest way.
I will share that Martine is wearing her custom wedding gown on the left. She had it made for her through a boutique store she found on Etsy (but you can find her shop here). The outfit on the right is more representative on Martine’s earlier years and her style at that time.
